The Rig
2026
Half of the fun of bike packing is packing the bike!
I bought a new bike as a graduation gift to myself. It was the perfect opportunity to apply my design and sewing experience by creating a custom set of bags and cargo cages for the adventures I hope to take over the coming years.
The bags are made from a unique deadstock material that is both durable and waterproof. Their patterns were developed digitally in Rhino 3D, allowing me to refine the fit and construction before sewing. The cargo cages were designed alongside the bags and waterjet cut from aluminum specifically to support the roll top panniers, creating a cohesive system tailored to the bike and the way I travel.
